Thanks to my mother I’ve come to learn more and appreciate Albert Einstein and his genius. In this case, I love the way he refers to imagination, I believe that if I stick to the plan I’ll get the results I want, but if I add imagination to my efforts I’ll be able to reach results greater than what I first set my mind to.
In the battle to become fit, my quest to build the perfect temple for my soul and spirit, imagination can help me in many ways. For example, I can think of new ways of prepare my favorite nutritious foods, come up with new combinations and ways to make cooking and preparing in advance a lot easier. What I have applied for this week is buying food on weekend, cooking on Sunday and serving the food for each day and freezing other meals for later days.
12:07 Oops! I’m hungry but I do not understand why, let’s recap today’s activities. At 6 am I went running. I could feel I am getting better at it and I’m really enjoying it. When I’m outside my dogs wake up and the join me in the garden, they don’t run with me but they keep me company. I also enjoy this time because I use it to think about my goals, do some visualizing and that helps me push myself harder. When I finish running I do abs training and stretching to regain my lost flexibility. I’ve been running for 5 days in a row and I like it.
At 7:30 I had breakfast, a mango, cereal with yogurt and a glass of milk with an egg white. At 10:30 I ate an apple and then at 11:15 I had 3 hard-boiled egg whites and half a serving of cereal. I’ve had 8 glasses of water. I feel fully energized but still very cold. Normally my body is cold, my hands and everything. I’m not used to wearing jackets or big sweaters because I get sleepy when my body temperature is warm but today I have been feeling too cold and I borrowed a jacket. Surprisingly I did not get sleepy. I guess that’s a good sign.

At 2:30 we went out to eat after heating our food at the office. I had tomato soup with pasta, carrots and zucchini, meatballs with vegetables and a small cup of jelly. I ate about 8 french fries that my friend bought. Right now it is 4:30 and I still fell very full and I’ve had 14 glasses of water so far.
Today I noticed the pants I’m wearing are really loose. I want to give myself credit because I know I have advanced but also I believed the pants expanded with me the past few months I gained weight because this morning I tried on a pair of jeans, the ones I love and have had for ages (about 9 years). Usually I use them as my point of reference to notice when I gain or loose weight and today they were very tight and uncomfortable.
I left the office at 6:08 and went to my class. On the way there I ate two ham rolls with cheese and a carrot. I think I have to add another carrot to my fourth meal because it’s too small and I get hungry really fast, like one hour after eating. When I got back in the car after class to go home I was already hungry and it was 8 pm. I got home and prepared my last meal, some leftover steak from last night’s dinner and a stuffed meatball (with a whole hard-boiled egg inside so you can imagine the size!!!) and some beans. I lost the count of how many glasses of water I drank .
At 10 I decided to workout some more so I played for a while on my Wii Fit. I did hula hoops, steps and some boxing. The first two I did very lazily but I really pushed myself while doing boxing. I’m going to bed at 11 pm. I hope to have lost something because I have gained weight the past few days and that’s starting to get me down.
