Today I received on my e-mail an excellent phrase by Rick Hansen “There is nothing you can’t do, If you set your mind to it, anything is possible”.
This phrase speaks to me at so many levels and cheers me up, it gives me the feeling that I’m on the right track to achieve my goal of building myself a beautiful temple. At 9:45 I’m feeling hunger but there is still time to go before having my second breakfast. I felt great after my run this morning and about the way I look.
On the long run I want to walk the talk so I have to be an example of what I want to preach, for this I found another phrase by Tom Venuto that can help me stay motivated so I can later help others “It’s not what diet you follow, it’s what makes you follow your diet” and in my case what keeps me going is achieving my personal goal so I can move on to a professional goal. It is an excellent phrase to remind me of my goals and the ultimate reasons to change and the things that keep me going strong. In times of change and challenge it is important to have your ultimate reasons as a reminder of the personal gains you’ll obtain after working really hard.
1:30 ok, so this past weekend I read about physical and emotional hunger and their differences, right now I’m physically hungry , really, really hungry. It’s been 3 hours since my second breakfast and I want to eat. I have decided with my co-workers we are eating at 2 pm.
4:50 Well, I ate at 2:30 and we stayed here at the office. Ia ete rice and fish, cucumber with hot pepper and lemos and a small cup of jelly. After eating we went outside to chat for a little while and my friend bought a candy bar from the vending machine. She offered some to me and oops! I accepted. I could not resist it but at least I can say that I did not buy one for myself. That’s progress. So far I’ve had 12 glasses of water.
5:55. Just had meal #4. it was very delicious. I had it at 5:40 so my last meal won’t be so late, at 9 I hope.
At night. Well, I did have dinner, at 8:30. I went with my boyfriend to a restaurant and ordered a serving of steak with no added cooking oil. I ate half the serving (you know how they love big servings at restaurants). I ate the meat in 2 tacos, very small tortillas by the way. Overall, today I drank 16 glasses of water and later at 10:30 pm I did 30 minutes of steps on my Wii fit. I'm going to bed at 11:15
See you tomorrow!
