The Fit Chic Lifestyle For Busy Women

11 am: I got up at 8:45. I weighed mysef and found out I have lost 900 grams in the past 6 days. It’s good to see I’ve lost but I have to admit it is not at the pace I would want. I know I did not exercise properly this week so my results are in correct correspondence to my efforts.
At 10:30 I ate a kiwi fruit and then prepared 3 egg whites with beans, I ate them with 2 tortillas and after eating them I feel good and satisfied. I left some food on my plate and saved it for later.
In the morning I did 30 minutes of aerobic training on mi wii fit, then I measured myself and set a goal for when I reach my deadline next week. By august 31st I wil weigh 68 kg. today I weigh 77.7. that is a little under 10 kg in 12 weeks. It will require all my attention and my efforts because reaching this goal would mean I’ve reached my ideal weight and body. It is the last stretch to get there. FOCUS Vany, FOCUS!!!

After doing some reading I have identified my triggers for emotional eating:
• Loneliness
• Boredom
• Anger
• Frustration
• Sadness
• Feeling ignored, unloved or worthless
• Relationship challenges
• Parties
• Holidays
• Sight of sweets
• Going to the movies
• Being out at night with my boyfriend
• Peer pressure

They are a lot, but once identified I can do something to avoid them and move on to something else whenever they are present in my life.

12:30 I am cooking my meals for next week. While doing this I am reading ‘The body fat solution’ by Tom Venuto and this is something I learned right now that I want to share:
My conception and metaphor for my body is: “My body is the temple for my soul. I have a beautiful soul which deserves a beautiful temple”.

Later at night: We had a little emergency and had to run out of the house. Everything is fine now so I can share what I did in the afternoon. I went to the supermarket with my mother to buy what I needed to finish cooking. Before the supermarket we had sushi at 4:30 because I was starving, I believe I overate because of this.

I prepared enough food for 2 weeks, well that’s what I think because after I finished I had everything for next week at work ready and the rest of the food is in bags inside the freezer.
I feel happy and motivated. I learned about the conception of food and from now on I think I’ll consider it my fuel to be active, the bricks and construction material to build my temple and I will think of sweets as to be enjoyed infrequently on very special occasions.

This are the measurements I took this morning, they are in centimeters:
• Weigh 77.2 kg (minus 1.8 kg since May 4)
• Skinfold: 28 mm (I’ve lost 5 mm since May 4)
• Body fat percentage 32.9 (I’ve lost 1.6% since May 4)
• Waist: 80 cm
• Hips: 110.5 cm
• Left thigh: 68 cm
• Right thigh: 68.5 cm
• Upper arm: 33 cm

Now I have more information to work with and not just my weight.
