I weigh 108 lbs and I'm 5'5.I know that sounds very low but I have high body fat.What can I do? I do interval training 3 days a week for 20min and weight training for 30min 3 days a week.Plus I'm doing tthe zig zag diet.I'm also 18.4% body fat.
18% body fat is low for a woman; it's really good. Men can get down to single digits but for a woman to go much lower than you already are? You'd lose your monthly cycle if you get much lower for one thing, and that's an unhealthy sign. Don't just go by what I say, you need to look this up some more and read some newsletters, because you'll find that a really cut woman is like 16-18% body fat. Women naturally carry more fat than men do because it's what makes us curvy and feminine. My goal is to hit 20% and move to a muscle-building phase for a few months.
Actually I just found something where women can get 12-14%. Hmmm. Looks like you can get lower than 18% with hard work and effort but listen to your body and stop when you are low enough.
