Your Life Purpose & How Living In Optimal Health Plays A Role In It

For the women who have been following me for a while you know how big a role that I believe mindset plays in your fat loss success. When it comes to mindset people often think of goal setting, positive thinking, law of attraction, visualization, and all those types of things.

All the above are great and they certainly are a necessary part of a powerful mindset, but there's so much more to it. Attitude, beliefs, and values are just a few more.

If you really want to accomplish those goals, develop positive beliefs, and create an unstoppable attitude, you need to link all these things to your life's purpose, or mission, or your destiny.

I love that word destiny. It's my destiny to reverse the obesity trend. I believe that I'm going to do this. I believe it so much that during my bike ride today I began to think that reversing the obesity trend is just a part of my destiny. I'm going to leave a legacy behind that is so much bigger than that.

Here's the thing... Your life's purpose does not have to be to reverse obesity or help thousands of people achieve optimal health.

Your life's purpose could be to feed the hungry, or to help the AIDS problem in Africa, or to come up with a cure for Cancer. Your life's purpose can be something amazing like being the absolute best mother that any child could ever ask for, and continue to improve your mothering skills every day that you grace us with your presence on this planet.

What I want to know is, how does living in optimal health play a role in your life's purpose. If your life's purpose is to travel to every continent and explore the wonders of the world and raise an awareness of what life is truly about, would living in optimal health play a key role in fulfilling this purpose?

I believe that living in optimal health will enhance any purpose that you have in life.

The reason that I'm asking you this question is to take the focus off of the weight loss for a moment. Spend some time dwelling on the legacy that you want to leave behind when you leave this planet. Think of how living in optimal health will help you fulfill that legacy.

Then, the next time that you feel like skipping a workout or reaching for the bag of chips, think of your destiny. Don't think about what eating that bag of chips will do to sabotage your weight loss plan. Think about eating that bag of chips as robbing you of leaving a legacy behind that you will be proud of. A legacy that will have your grandchildren's grandchildren still talking about you.

You have been blessed with the gift and the abilities to make a difference in the world. Make full use of those gifts and your life will be charmed.
